About Region 4
Region 4 is part of the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating people about daylilies, promoting their cultivation and enjoyment, and supporting the ongoing improvement of this perennial flower. The American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) is also known as the American Daylily Society (ADS). The American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) is organized into fifteen regions across the United States and Canada. AHS Region 4 is one of those regions, serving as a chapter within the international AHS, whose mission is to promote daylilies as an essential part of gardening and horticulture.
If you live in CT, ME, MA, NH, NY, RI, VT, or NB, NL, NS, ON, PE, QC, you’re in Region 4.

Mission
The American Daylily Society exists to educate people about daylilies, promote the cultivation and enjoyment of daylilies and foster the on-going improvement of this perennial flower (genus hemerocallis).
We accomplish this mission through the dedicated efforts of all our volunteers, members, local clubs and staff who are committed to the continuous improvement of our efforts to build support for the cultivation and appreciation of daylilies.
